InfraStruxure for Small IT

The Schneider Electric corporation, solution provider in the field of management of the electric power, provided in the spring of 2012 of InfraStruxure for Small IT — the hardware-software offer for design and creation of responsible engineering infrastructure for small IT premises at the small and medium enterprises.

Innovation is characterized by efficiency of installation, configuring and installation of infrastructure in small IT premises, such as server, a switching node or any unspecialized space. The solution considers the main painful points of modern small enterprises: restrictions of human and financial resources, growth of intensity of use of different devices, overload of corporate networks, lack of space for proper deployment of intellectual IT environments, etc. Any combinations of the UPS, racks for servers, means of the organization of cables, the systems of ensuring physical security, blocks of power distribution, the equipment of cooling, management systems and also software tools of increase in efficiency, implementation of advantages of virtualization and consolidation, reduction of idle times, prolongation of service life of the equipment and minimization of power consumption, waste and emergency shutdowns are supported.

In the solution it is included tools of design and a set of application guides that is important for VAR resellers, independent software developers, system integrators and the staff of IT services and also the instrument of deployment of the described installations and their binding to the selected areas, technical specifications and requirements of the subsequent growth allowing to lower requirements to knowledge and experience of IT personnel.

For adaptation of each solution to a specific case of Schneider Electric prepared two instruments of design, one for channel partners of the sales which are engaged in configuring of solutions for customers, and the second — the public web portal with information and recommendations about an optimal solution of tasks of customers.

The central control panel integrating such functions as management of power supply at the level of the separate socket, energy consumption accounting, etc. allows to solve administration tasks of IT systems through remote monitoring and systems management of power supply, the built-in systems of monitoring, preventive maintenance and issue of disturbing notifications, the rationalized control of a set of devices and objects.
