The Russian State University for the Humanities implements technical solution for deployment of the systems of distance learning

Inline Technologies completed the project of creation of information and communication infrastructure in the Center of regional development of the Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH).

Task

The project was created with the purpose to provide the Center with reliable failsafe infrastructure for implementation of the systems of distance learning (SDL).

Solution

Information and communication infrastructure of the Center consists of such components as: server segment of the local computer network (LCN), information system (IS) and system of engineering infrastructure of the data processing center (DPC).

For ensuring high-speed and reliable transit of the traffic allowing the staff of the Center of regional development it is effective to use corporate IT resources, the multiservice data transmission medium is organized.

The server segment of a LAN is constructed using a basic technology of Gigabit Ethernet. Reliability of network is provided with reservation of communication lines and duplication of the key equipment. For providing computing resources to corporate services based on program components of VMware, HP servers and the EMC disk array IVS which provides a possibility of a fast turn of information services in failsafe configurations is constructed.

Engineering infrastructure of DPC provides a physical medium for placement and creation of operating conditions of information and telecommunication equipment.
