Regionavia (M2M-Cyber GLX)

For the first time in Russia for the purpose of security and increase in control of the flights which are taking place at different heights, vessels of small civil aviation are equipped with GLONASS equipment. The Viscort company (the regional partner of M2M Telematics group in the Volgograd region), implements the project on implementation of navigation technologies in fleets of Agrolet and Regionavia companies.

At the moment the navigation and coherent equipment equips 30 airplanes of AH-2 brand, the Snipe and Sh-1A Bumblebee. Vessels of small aircraft of Agrolet and Regionavia companies carry out aviation and chemical works on preparation of farmlands for crops, desiccation and also for the purpose of extermination of wreckers and weeds. Airplanes introduce dry mineral fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides on agricultural territories of Russia, Kazakhstan, Kalmykia.

"GLONASS technologies help us to increase efficiency of planning and control of fleet, to optimize logistic processes in the company. At any moment from the workplace I can trace where there is a specific aircraft and, in case of need, to give operational instructions. Control over work of crew is completely adjusted", - the flight director of the company of Regionavia Oleg Solovyov noted. - We work with agricultural producers of ours and the neighboring regions. Water in the Volgograd region much, and often the border between them passes across dirt roads no more than a meter wide. It is as a result quite difficult to understand in what territory in a specific period works are carried out. Thanks to navigation solutions we locate full-fledged evidential base. Our work can be estimated on the basis of the tracks of movement of aircrafts provided to customers".

The important value has also flight safety. In addition to the navigation and coherent equipment of a cabin of pilots are equipped with the disturbing button. In case of an emergency situation the manager receives exact coordinates of the vessel and can call most quickly services of the emergency reaction to the scene. Bidirectional coupling of the pilot with dispatching service is performed through allocated channel of a radio communication.

"At small heights, in some areas there is a loss of VHF of communication and if the vessel does not contact, I can keep track of its location using GLONASS system and be convinced that everything works in regular the mode", - Oleg Solovyov added.
