The new section "Aerotechnical Base" (AB) on the portal of an after-sale service is developed and implemented. ATB provides to the owners of helicopters who are clients of the company, service of self-service regarding procedures of service maintenance and repair of aircrafts.


The following services are available to clients of the company:

  • Obtaining certificate of helicopters raids,
  • Sending service request of helicopters,
  • Viewing plans of maintenance and repair (MRO),
  • Obtaining necessary reports.


During creation of the portal strict requirements to security of a system were imposed. It is provided by means of the following solutions:
  • Access to the portal is implemented with obligatory authentication of users;
  • At deployment of the portal necessary certificates for the organization of the protected SSL connection are connected;
  • Interaction of the portal with data sources is executed from obligatory generic by authentication on the DB servers.


Besides, the mechanism of roles and groups for separation of access rights between users is implemented. Groups are used by the portal for access rights restriction both to different sections of all PPO portal, and for access isolation on functions in the section.
Functioning of the portal is based on use of the mechanism of web services (Service Windows service), for data storage the MS SQL SERVER is used. Also the portal is integrated with external service of the reporting Oracle BI Publisher.


Result:

  • Processing speed of requests of clients increased, time expenditure on their service decreased thanks to what company performance increased;
  • The business processes connected with customer relationship management became more transparent that increased controllability of the company;
  • The company received the comfortable canal of interaction with the clients;
  • The company got additional competitive advantage and raised a customer loyalty.
