School No. 76 of the city of Yekaterinburg implements a biometric control system of expenses on a power supply of the pupil

Sonda Technology LLC started at high school No. 76 of Yekaterinburg the biometric project "A school window. Dining room".

Task

Project objective "School window. The dining room" - the organization of calculations for a power supply of children in school cafeteria directly between parents and service providers, passing intermediaries. It will allow to exclude inappropriate use of the means intended for payment of a power supply of children and to avoid the conflicts with parents.

Solution

As payment confirmation for a lunch will serve the fingerprint of the pupil. It will become a guarantee that a lunch the specific child, but not someone will receive another by the stolen or lost card. Putting a finger to the biometric scanner, the pupil sends a request to payment system for lunch cost depletion. If on the bank card of parents there are not enough means for payment, a system will permit the child to receive a lunch on credit.

Parents will be able to check an expense of means on the special website where the reporting on expenses in school cafeteria will be automatically provided. The website is provided with all necessary mechanisms of enciphering and personal data protection which guarantee security at registration of bank cards.

Information on the website will be useful not only to parents and administration of school, but also workers of the dining room who will be able rationally to organize power supply process, to distribute the funds and resources.

Principal No. 76 Igor Klimovskikh considers "the most important advantage of the project that it allows to introduce personal accounts individually of each child. As a result each parent will be calculated directly with the supplier of food service that in the future will exempt school from competitive procedures and at once will increase quality of a power supply, children will return to the dining room, and parents will be happy".
