Jet Infosystems created for VGTRK a control system of vulnerabilities based on the product MaxPatrol

On May 29, 2012 Jet Infosystems and the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK) announced project completion on ensuring continuous control of cybersecurity of all components of IT infrastructure of broadcasting company. The system created based on the MaxPatrol software product scans IT infrastructure, reveals vulnerabilities, monitors changes of settings, the IT component allows to provide compliance of all to corporate and industry standards of security.

VGTRK is the largest media corporation of Russia with the developed branch network which includes more than eighty regional representative offices using information systems of different type. The concept of development of cybersecurity of VGTRK is focused on simplicity of systems management of protection, scalability and ensuring the minimum level of intervention in IT infrastructure. The product MaxPatrol on which the control system of uzyavimost is based as much as possible corresponds to the adopted concept of development of cybersecurity of broadcasting company. The Jet Infosystems company having considerable experience of creation of systems on control of cybersecurity for the organizations of the different industries of the market with difficult infrastructure became the contractor of the project.

At the first stage of the project the scannings given about objects and their types were collected, the engineering design on creation of a control system of cybersecurity is developed. The stage of implementation covered a large number of platforms and applications. For example: the workstations and servers working running operating systems Microsoft Windows and Mac OS, servers – running the operating system Solaris, DBMS Oracle and MS SQL, network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls), etc. After installation of an analysis system of security experts of Jet Infosystems company configured settings of checks of compliance of IT components to technical standards of security.
