SafeNet Network Logon

The product SafeNet Network Logon is intended for solution of the problem of "weak" passwords during the work on computers running Microsoft Windows OS. Right after installation of a product for an input on the computer or in network it is possible to begin to use passwords, or digital certificates, reliable and resistant to search.

Even at the simplest scenario of use SafeNet Network Logon provides the following functionality: generation of the reliable password for the input in Windows up to 28 characters long which is surely containing letters of an upper and lower case, digits and special characters; change of the current user password of Windows with the new difficult password; storage of the password for an input in Windows in a secure memory of an USB key or smart card of eToken.

SafeNet Network Logon of version 8.0

The version of SafeNet Network Logon 8.0 for the first time offers the Russian-language interface. At the same time the new version provides authentication by one-time passwords in the domain MS Windows thanks to what data of users are under reliable protection.

The Certified Information Systems company, official distributor of solutions SafeNet in Russia, received the certificate of the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC of Russia) on the software for gain of safety features of operating systems — SafeNet Network Logon 8.0. As result, advantages of use of the certified version of this solution providing two-factor authentication for protection against unauthorized access and data loss became available to the Russian customers.

The certificate of conformity of FSTEC of Russia No. 2792 of December 24, 2012 confirms that the software of SafeNet Network Logon 8.0 developed by SafeNet company and made by "The certified information systems" is the software tool of the data protection which is not containing the data which are the state secret from unauthorized access and protection against unauthorized access to information conforms to requirements of the regulating document ". Part 1. Information security software. Classification by the level of absence control of not declared opportunities" (State Technical Commission of Russia, 1999) on the 4th level of control and also can be used in automated systems to a class of security 1G inclusive and in personal data information systems up to 1 class inclusive.

In the whole SafeNet Network Logon — this solution in information security field for ensuring access to a local network. It includes authentication on the basis of digital certificates and methods of strict authentication for an input in Windows. Allows to reduce influence of "a human factor" on Windows security level, to configure secure access by deployment of different means of authentication. In general the solution represents the complex including the hardware, electronic keys of eToken and a program part.

The certified version of SafeNet Network Logon 8.0 will allow the Russian customers who are actively using solutions of SafeNet for multifactor authentication to create secure information systems in strict accordance with requirements of the Russian legislation. Besides, the companies using the certified version of Network Logon will have an additional opportunity for work with local accounts and also new features of administration among which simultaneous operation with several keys, viewing information in the memory of eToken and statistics of all registered keys, was noted in "The certified information systems".
