The Navicon company completed in the spring of 2012 the project of automation of treasury in one of the largest publishing houses of Russia – the Publishing center "Akademiya". Specialists of the company resolved issues of effective management of the current payments, including, automation of payments of royalties. The Microsoft Dynamics AX system became base for the solution of these questions.

The publishing center "Akademiya" is the specialized multi-profile publishing house which is releasing educational and educational and methodical literature in the main directions for all education levels. For all the time of the work the publishing house issued over 6,000 names of books with a general circulation more than 30 million copies. In all federal districts of Russia branches of publishing house work.

The complex project of automation planned by the leaders of the publishing center is designed to optimize the business processes, most important for the company, – management of the current payments, logistics, accounting of warehouse stocks, production, management of author's agreements. The NaviCon Group company became the contractor who was defined as a result of the tender. The project began with automation of functions of treasury.

The mechanism of authority delegation which is built in a system allows to create requests for payment to responsible persons from different divisions. Requests pass the predeterminated approval routes: from the face, creating the document, to the employee of financial service who plans payments on the company. Thanks to integration with a budgeting system, requests are checked for compliance to the approved plans by divisions and articles of BDDS. After the approval of the request join in the uniform payment schedule. On the basis of requests payment orders which are delivered in the system of Client-bank automatically form. Back from a system the bank statement which data are used for registration of actually registered payments arrives. On the basis of the performed requests the consolidated cash flow statement on the enterprise forms. Besides, the customer can prepare the plan fact the reporting and analyze it in different cuts.

One of specific features of publishing business is a large number of the payments to individuals connected with royalties and work of freelance employees on works agreements. Much attention was paid to the matter during the project. The module of treasury with a payroll system allows to integrate the created solution and to load from there data on the planned payments.
