The Milena retail network passes into Balakovo on "the Supermagician of UKM 4.0"

The Service Plus group successfully automated the Balakovo network of Milena grocery stores. Based on consideration of different cash solutions the UKM 4.0 software product appeared out of competition.

Decision-making for benefit of UKM 4.0 was influenced by high reliability and functionality of the software product. The cash solution of Service Plus is from such modules, important for modern retailers, as:

Control of the specialized equipment for increase in activity of the buyer; Cost reduction connected with equipment downtime; Management system for relationship with buyers; Technologies of control of actions of personnel; and others.

Especially the management of network liked the Marketing module allowing a message polls of buyers in real time to hold advertizing campaigns, both independent, and joint with suppliers of goods, that raises the service level of buyers and brings notable increase in profit.

The following became the main advantage of the cash solution "UKM 4.0" for local retail network — the solution is completely written on Linux, failure from paid license software (Windows, etc.), reliable remote access and a mnogofiskalnost. In addition to all listed advantages this solution has also an economic case. Ergonomics of a workplace of the cashier and convenience of processing and data analysis were always appreciated by clients. Thanks to "UKM" it is possible to use one fiscal device SP402 instead of four fiskalnik of other producers that gives economy on service maintenance, costs of the new and substitution equipment.

Together with fiscal registrars the new OTEKsys 10 monitors are selected" which take the leading positions on the characteristics and cost in comparison with the equipment of other producers. According to the director of regional sales of Service Plus Yury Sobolev: — "A lineup with diagonals 7", 8.4", 10.4", 15" and 17" completely closes needs of our customers for the similar equipment. One of perspective models is VGA/DVI the touch monitor with the RS232 and/or USB interfaces. As which OT10 model relating to displays of the buyer of new generation is used large-format 10" — instead of 2 character strings there is now an opportunity to show to buyers not only current position of the check, but also the check entirely, details of advertizing campaigns, full graphics images, advertizing filmlets, etc. Innovation, as well as all previous OTEKsys models, on a ratio price / quality, is the unique offer in the market".

Within the project of Service Plus automated 3 new shops of retail network through UKM 4.0 and replaced fiscal registrars with SP402. Based on operation of "UKM" in new shops the management of network considers translation variants of already operating shops on cash software of Service Plus. As Back-office of a system the third-party solution, but, despite it is used, integration of UKM took place perfectly. What it was possible not to doubt as UKM 4.0 is the industry standard and has relevant interfaces for work, practically, with all trading systems, including "UKM" is certified according to standards of SAP for ISV solutions (solutions of independent developers). The retail network is going to conduct further opening of shops independently without involvement of third-party specialists that is initially considered in the software product.

The network of Milena retail stores is founded in 1993 in the city of Balakovo of the Saratov region. Shops of network work in two formats: "supermarket" and "shop at the house". In November the 15th shop of network is open. Each shop has own production: salad workshop, confectionery workshop, meat workshop, workshop on production of meat semi-finished products. All shops are equipped with 3 — 4 cash desks. In development plans for network opening of new outlets and workshop on production of bakery products and also development of the Distribution Centre.

The retail chain stores Milena are included into the Union of Independent Networks of Russia (UINR) which totals 49 members with the total number of shops more than 1400 outlets of 45 regions of Russia. At the same time, the majority from which are clients of Service Plus as in the field of software products, the IT equipment, and users of services of the Authorized Service Center Niksdorf (ASCN).
