EVRAZ of NTMK reduced warehouse stocks by 10% using SAP

On October 22, 2018 the company SAP CIS reported that EVRAZ OF HTMK passed to the system of operational planning of production based on solutions SAP ERP and SAP APO PP/DS. A system completely changed process of the order, production planning and production of spare parts. According to the results of implementation the level of warehouse stocks decreased by 10%. The system of SAP allowed to keep effectively account of requests, to plan and manage quickly production. For October, 2018 requests of workshops for production of spare parts are placed in an electronic system where delivery dates, limits of resources of the producer, priority are considered. All orders are traced that allows to react to any changes of parameters quickly. In a system there is a possibility of operational replanning that helps to estimate more precisely production capacities and to increase the number of the orders performed in time.

We produce more than one thousand types of different products, and practically each part has the individual route. Plan production in the available programs it was very difficult. System implementation helped to automate manual transactions, it is less time to spend for preparation of reports, messages production planning, uniform for all divisions. Results of planning, execution and movement of orders became transparent and available. A system allows to create the standard and customized operational and analytical reports. Planning process automation, including formation of needs for raw materials, helps to create more precisely the purchasing request, to reduce a cycle of production of spare parts. These factors helped to solve the existing problems and to pass to effective management of warehouse stocks, to increase performance of sections of own production of spare parts, to optimize the number of the specialists occupied in planning, to increase an indicator of turnover of raw materials and materials.
