The city administration Rostov-on-Don upgrades computing infrastructure the solution of IBM

The administration of Rostov-on-Don and IBM corporation completed the first project stage of upgrade of the hardware platform integrating all information systems of the mayor's office. The basis of a new hardware platform is served by the solution BladeCenter H with four HS22V servers edges. The project is implemented by forces of iStack company.

Preliminary results

According to the results of the first stage all document flow, the mail server and also other information systems of divisions of the mayor's office are transferred to server solutions and storage systems of IBM. Within the next stage planned to end in the 3rd quarter 2012 migration of the website of administration and the portal of state services on the IBM Power servers will be made.
