Directum in Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation

The Akelon company announced in June, 2012 start of an implementation project of the DIRECTUM ECM system in Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. In its framework office-work process automation and also managements of meetings and meetings is performed.

For the purpose of increase in efficiency of document flow and reduction of labor costs the management of chamber made the decision to optimize business processes using a modern electronic document management system. Based on competitive selection preference was given to Akelon company which proposed the solution on the platform of the DIRECTUM ECM system.

The project started in May, 2012. During the project it is going to solve the main objectives:

• arrange and accelerate document flow due to transfer of work with some document types (requests, memos) completely to an electronic form and the organizations of electronic vising of the most part of documents;
• reduce time for creation, approval and document retrieval;
• create electronic archive;
• cut down expenses on printing and replication of documents;
• increase the level of transparency of processes of approval of documents and execution of instructions of the management;
• accelerate delivery of information to heads for acceptance of management decisions.

Problems of implementation will be implemented using Basic system modules of DIRECTUM and also functionality of business solutions "Classical office-work" and "Management of meetings and meetings". Implementation of EDMS will allow CCI to organize and structure business processes, to increase document flow speed, to provide control over execution of tasks, to create electronic archive of documents. Thus, using the DIRECTUM system processes of work with documents considerably will become simpler, will become managed and controlled.
