EDGE EVO

EDGE EVO and VertX EVO represent the open and scalable platform for obtaining the highest functionality of a control and management system for access including possibilities of remote control, monitoring in a real mode of time, report generation and the powerful tool which will allow the user to use the equipment for other applications without additional investments.

Protecting investments of end users in the equipment, the new platform is under construction on the successful solutions EDGEÒ and VertXÒ and provides comprehensive architecture of the ACS. In the future the platform will also be able to give enhanced capabilities in creation of the ACS and its subsequent updates, thanks to a packet of EVO API Developer Tool Kit (DTK) developer.

The scalability of EDGE EVO and VertX EVO controllers provides a possibility of providing in the future wide feature set of access control, implementing the increased security by means of dial panels for management of a door and large-scale control of repeated pass. Besides VertX EVO controllers work within the developed HID Global Trusted Identity Platform (TIP). It will allow the present version of the controller and to its subsequent updates surely to work in a chain "the host controller – the reader", significantly increasing functionality of the ACS in the future.

The EVO platform includes the following components:

• EDGE EVO controllers, the controller combined with the reader and also the modules input/output (IO) that will ensure higher safety of communications on the information bus Hi-O. EDGE EVO in addition to the already available convenience of using of network ACS added support zamkov12/24VDC, options of installation and a Plug and Play IO modules.
• The VertX EVO V1000 controller and interface unit keep the bigger number of card owners, have smaller time of transactions and the increased time for an open status of a door, at the same time providing 100% compatibility with already installed modules of the lower hierarchy.
• Comprehensive packet of OPIN API developer (DTK) for transition from first generation of EDGE and VertX or for new developments, using the latest platform. DTK contains the preset controller EDGE EVO, VertX EVO V1000 and interface units of VertX and the IO control panel and also a complete set of documentation.
