JSC Apatit implements a pilot project of system implementation of enterprise asset management

The Apatit enterprise started pilot operation of an asset management system based on Oracle Enterprise Assets Management.

Need

Asset management – an important component of activity of the enterprise, it is very important to them - to provide a possibility of formation of costs for repair work on items of equipment, to define criteria and the detail level of reference books of the equipment, process charts.

Solution

The project on asset management is executed by specialists of racle Consulting based on one of divisions of JSC Apatit – the Rasvumchorrsky mine. The structure of the systems of the project switches on the self-propelled equipment and also a utilities equipment. The accumulated operating experience in a pilot zone will allow to approach deliberately the next stage – system deployment of asset management on all Apatit and to expansion of its functionality.

Result

The project provides a basis for optimization of crucial business processes on repair of expensive equipment in operation, including decision making on repair or an output of an asset from operation, determination of strategy of repair, creation of relationship with the contractor and also control and calculation of needs for the repair personnel. In addition, the project became an important milestone in development of a corporate information system of the PhosAgro group.
