Group "Walk about" develops the project of virtualization of corporate network

JSC РТКомм.РУ completed the first stage of creation of a virtual private corporate network for JSC Group RAZGULYAY.

Results

Within the first stage of the project to network of group "WALK ABOUT" more than 60 manufacturing enterprises for which JSC РТКомм.РУ provides monitoring and continuous control of parameters of quality are connected. Delivery, installation and setup of the equipment are performed, enciphering of channels is organized.

Objectives

Within implementation of the second stage of the project provision of services of corporate telephony is planned, creation of a unified number plan for Group "WALK ABOUT" also the organization of alternative channels of communication through the existing Internet connections.

Consolidation of offices in a single network allows Group "WALK ABOUT" to optimize both IT infrastructure, and internal communications of the company.

Krasnov Alexander, the Deputy CEO for IT of Group "WALK ABOUT", noted: "Creation of a single corporate network and a common information space is one of fundamental stages of implementation of IT strategy of Group. Thanks to implementation of this stage, we centralized and unified IT management, passed to the centralized model of providing IT services, having raised their indicators of availability and performance and also received transparency of functioning of IT at the enterprises. Connection of the separate enterprises of group was not simple to be performed, in view of their remoteness from the nearest towns – it was necessary to study a set of options, selecting the most optimal. Within the second stage of the project we should optimize the existing connections, to organize a single corporate telephone network and to organize uninterrupted operation of communication at the expense of the organization of reserve connections through the Internet which will be activated at accidents in the background without involvement of specialists".
