Volgograd river port (TRIM)

In "The Volgograd river port" the automated control system for repairs and maintenance of courts is put into operation. The industry solution for shipping companies developed by NPP Spectec based on the software package TRIM was the basis for a system.

"The Volgograd river port" is at the same time port and shipping company. For the purpose of increase in transparency of a MRO, identification of cost center and development of the adjusting solutions it was decided to use an automated system. The implementation project started in October, 2007. Organizationally users of a system are distributed between structural divisions of the client – the Volgograd river port, the Lower Volga shipping company, the Volgograd cargo port, the Volgograd passenger port, the Kamyshin port, Base of repair and a sediment of the fleet (BRIOF).

Territorially users are distributed between three nodes of a system: central, being in office in Volgograd, and two deleted – in Kamyshin (distance about 200 kilometers) and on the left coast of Volga, in the location BRIOF. On remote nodes for users local databases which synchronization with the central database is supposed by means of replications are implemented. Users at office will directly address the central database.

Within the project directories of the equipment of courts were created, standard repair sheets on projects of courts are developed that should allow to reduce considerably further time for drawing up executive repair sheets and administration of a MRO.

The company purchased 22 user licenses TRIM.
