Polymetal implements the ECM Directum system

The task of implementation of a modern ECM system was set by the management of JSC Polymetal in the middle of 2011. After development of the concept of electronic document management of holding the directorate on IT of Polymetal started the choice of an optimal information system. In the course of the analysis both foreign, and leading Russian developments were considered. The management of the enterprise made the choice for benefit of the DIRECTUM ESM-system and held the tender for selection of the contractor. Polymetal gave preference to the certified partner of DIRECTUM – Galaktika of IT company.

The project started at the beginning of 2012 and is directed to solving of tasks:

• creations of electronic archive of finance documents;
• process automation on management of the entering, outgoing correspondence and internal documents and also organizational and administrative documentation;
• implementations of process of management of instructions;
• automation of a contracted work;
• implementation of integration with 1C and other accounting systems of the company;
• organizations of geographically distributed work.

The tasks set for Galaktika of IT will be implemented using functionality of the Basic modules DIRECTUM and also business solutions "Classical office-work" and Contract management.

At the first stage of the project which was completed in April, 2012, the detailed technical specifications were developed and approved, delivery of client licenses of DIRECTUM is executed. It will provide business process automation for the first 500 users at the central office of the company in St. Petersburg and on remote platforms in the cities of Magadan, Khabarovsk, Yekaterinburg.

Within the second stage specialists of Galaktika of IT developed and approved project solutions. At the moment necessary modification and tuning of the DIRECTUM system according to technical specifications is performed. The termination of the second stage and training of pilot user groups is planned for August, 2012.
