Report: ERP in the food industry of Russia: 17 systems, 96 integrators and 231 projects
Based on the research conducted by the TAdviser Center, the enterprises of the food industry close the three of the most active consumers of ERP systems in Russia, conceding on number of the implemented ERP projects only to the trading companies and the enterprises of mechanical engineering. The report of TAdviser contains information on 231 ERP projects implemented at the enterprises of the food industry.
As a result of the research which covered more than 3100 ERP projects, 315 ERP integrators and 24 vendors of ERP systems in 39 branches of the economy of Russia, TAdviser obtains the statistical data giving a clear picture about experience of application of ERP systems in specific industries, examination of integrators and level of prevalence of ERP solutions of different vendors in our country.
The number of the ERP systems considered in this research included the software products of 17 developers presented at the Russian market: 1C, Exact Software, Infor, Microsoft, Oracle, QAD, SAP, Business of Technology, Galaktika, Intellect-Service, Informkontakt consulting, "Infosoft", Compass, Monolit-Info, Parus of Fregat, "Epikor|Scala".
As showed results of a research, ERP projects in the food industry have 96 companies integrators. In this industry of the general complexity for the last 5 years in them more than 230 implementations are implemented.
According to the Center of the choice of technologies and suppliers of TAdviser, an undisputed leader on number of implementations in the market of ERP systems in the Russian food industry is the 1C company. The second place is taken by solutions of Microsoft Business Solutions company and the third place is shared by SAP and Intellect-Service companies. It is important that from products of 1C in a research as ERP systems were considered only the solutions constructed on the 1C: Enterprise 8.0 platform. In total nearly 75% of all ERP projects implemented in the industry are the share of solutions of four leading vendors.
According to a research, the total quantity of ERP projects in the Russian food industry makes 231. At the same time in the market of informatization of the food industry in Russia there are no large players. So the leader of the rating, the "Effective Manufacturing Enterprise, EPP" company implemented only 13 implementations of ERP systems in the industry that makes only 5.6% of a total quantity of the projects implemented in the food industry (in piece expression). The companies sharing 2-3 place in rating – "Columbus Ai Ti the Partner Russia" and Parus - already have less than 10 implementations everyone and a market share on 3.9% (in piece expression). All this speaks about immaturity of this segment of the market. And, considering active development of the food industry in general, allows to predict its significant growth.
