At the airport Khabarovsk implement the modern system of informing

The IT company with participation of Aplana company completed implementation of the automated directory system at the international airport of Khabarovsk.

Basis and expectations

The project is implemented within preparation for the summit of the Asia-Pacific forum of economic cooperation "APEC Vladivostok-2012". The new system of informing passengers will allow to provide the high level of service of the international runs.

In the run-up to the largest international action "APEC Vladivostok-2012" for which the Khabarovsk airport is the reserve transport hub the management made the decision to carry out necessary upgrade of infrastructure facilities, including to create the modern system of informing for significant quality improvement of service of passengers.

Based on the held competition, project implementation was entrusted IT group (works were conducted by Aplana company).

Solution

The implemented automated directory system provides visual and speech informing passengers and staff of the airport on the current situation in the territory of the transport terminal: about registration passing, about landing and issue of baggage, changes in the schedule, take-off and landing of aircrafts, emergency situations and services offered on air terminal. Visual information is displayed on 35 electronic boards in two languages – Russian and English. Broadcast of messages is made at the same time through 4 audio channels that excludes delays in information transfer in those zones of terminals where it is necessary. All messages are broadcast also in the Russian and English languages.

A system is designed with high degree of reliability and steadily functions in mode 24х7. The automated jobs which give ample opportunities on management and monitoring of functioning of a system are developed for the staff of the airport. In the long term each workplace will be optimized for service of the selected zone of the airport.
