The Dynamo management company develops a private cloud

The Asteros company integrator created a private cloud for Dynamo management company — the customer of reconstruction of stadium "VTB the Arena – the Central stadium "Dynamo" ("VTB the Arena"). As a technology platform of virtualization the solution Microsoft Hyper-V Cloud is used.

Task

The main loading on support of the applications and systems functioning within competence and requirements of Dynamo Management Company fell on several physical servers. After before the company there were new tasks — the project on reconstruction of VTB Arena stadium — was required more productive, flexible and managed IT infrastructure. Creation of a private cloud became the solution. The project is charged to Asteros company.

Solution

Specialists of Asteros created the draft decision on the platform of reference architecture Microsoft Hyper-V Cloud, set up the equipment and necessary technical means. Within a month the operability of a system was checked in the isolated test environment, and then was transferred to commercial operation.

According to Ivan Batov, the head of department of infrastructure solutions of Asteros company, for UK "Dynamo" creation of the managed and flexible IT infrastructure based on a cloud became one of the effective solutions capable to provide the due performance and dynamic development of business processes.

Now the private cloud is unrolled on 4 physical servers running Microsoft Hyper-V Server. Service of virtual machines is performed using Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager. The fault tolerance provides Server Failover Clustering which protects each virtual machine and executes independent recovery after failures. Today in a cloud a mail system and databases of the customer work.
