The IKS-FIT group improves automation of financial activities in the network of fitness clubs

The Navicon company starts the project of automation of financial activities of network of the IKS-FIT fitness centers. At the heart of software solutions it is going to apply Microsoft SharePoint Server and to create the consolidated data warehouse based on the Microsoft SQL Server.

Task

Expansion of business of the customer demanded more modern approaches to management of finance. Creation of a system of creation and approval of requests for payment became one of the most topical issues. For the choice of the solution and the contractor on implementation the tender was announced. By its results preference was given to Navicon company.

For project implementation the Microsoft SharePoint Server platform which allows is selected:

• create the system of formation of requests for payment and construct schemes of the movement of the request from primary point of its creation to an endpoint of approval and a statement;
• manage the register of payments and also weekly and daily plans of payments – based on the approved requests and also data on receipt of funds.

Solution

Within the project specialists of Navicon create the uniform data warehouse where information on the planned account part of budgets of each fitness center is monthly loaded. Besides, data from all 1C systems working in the company are consolidated in storage. Integration of storage and Microsoft SharePoint Server gives the chance during creation of requests for payment to carry out an automatic inspection on limits, to use uniform reference books and afterwards depending on a remaining balance of means on accounts and in cash desks to create queue on payment of requests.

Integration of the data warehouse allows to communicate with the consolidated bases 1C about a remaining balance of means, about necessary payments and also gives the chance to compare the requests for payment created in a system based on SharePoint with the actual payments which are conducted in 1C.

Objectives

The project is supposed to be implemented in several stages: on the first it is going to automate treasury based on Microsoft SharePoint Server and to create the consolidated data warehouse based on the Microsoft SQL Server. Then the reporting task of indicators of activity of the company will be carried out.

Report generation on indicators of activity of the company (for example, reports on cost efficiency, regular activities reports of clubs, reports on functional areas, etc.) will become the next stage of the project.
