R-Style constructed DPC for Electronic Moscow

The R-Style company, the supplier of IT solutions and business systems, announced in April, 2013 creation of a data processing center for Electronic Moscow company, the developer and the operator of a number of socially important information systems of federal level. The DPC, with power about 7 MW and with a total area of 3 thousand sq.m, was designed and constructed under cloud services less than in a year. According to plans of Electronic Moscow, with input of the platform in operation in the first quarter 2013 to a new round of development there will be city electronic services implemented within the state program "The information city 2012-2016".

Construction of DPC is an investment-project of Electronic Moscow. The created center became the second DPC of the company that allows it to create disaster-proof solutions for crucial services. At the same time both objects are located in Moscow. "Electronic Moscow" is going to place such IT systems as EMIAS, GUSOEV, EDO of the Government of Moscow and also the systems of the commercial organizations in the center.

Power of the first stage of DPC is 70 racks on 15 kW and the hall of the non-standard equipment for placement of 40 racks on 15 kW. Net output of all DPC — 6800 kW, 244 racks of the main 15 kW turbine hall, 40 racks of the hall of the non-standard equipment, 40 racks of a telecommunication core of DPC and 120 racks of the reserve hall. On the level of reliability and availability the DPC corresponds to the Tier III level. Level of reservation of the engineering systems of a data processing center allows to carry out maintenance and repair works without stopping of its work. IT-zalov Square exceeds 1.5 thousand sq.m.

For ensuring smooth operation of systems and cost optimization in DPC the large number of high-performance innovative technologies is implemented. So, before R-Style announced the dynamic rotor UPSes (DIPB) implemented in DPC. Also in the center are implemented a conditioning system and cold supply using chillers with freecooling function. Energy saving solutions, an intellectual core of DPC of Electronic Moscow, monitoring and management of the engineering systems allow to use flexibly all resources of new data center, expand scaling options and increase its cost efficiency, claim in the company.
