i-NORM is developed in the help for creation of reference books for business processes of management of maintenance and repairs of the equipment (MRO)

Processes of management of maintenance and repairs of the equipment are one of the most difficult regarding a regulation and automation.

Modern heads and specialists in the field of a MRO should work in the conditions of the big uncertainty caused by the big park of the operated equipment, unpredictability of its technical condition, on the one hand, and from financiers and owners of the enterprises to prove by the increasing requirements costs for maintenance. It dictates need to quickly process big arrays of information, to work in modern ACS (management of a MRO).

There is a need to conduct more detailed bases of the equipment and to have the detailed standards (templates of works) on a MRO. For this purpose there has to be information base which allows to implement the most advanced approaches to planning on the basis of a job order method at which the resource method of determination of amounts of works on each item of equipment or group of the same equipment is used.

Standards on a MRO are used:

• - for planning of labor costs on a MRO repair service;
• - for the order of spare parts and materials for service of logistics;
• - for value assessment of services MRO by the service companies working at an outsourcing basis.

Many enterprises conduct works on review and development of new standards independently, groups of specialists and experts are created, contractors, the scientific organizations are attracted. The i-NORM project allows to reduce significantly costs of time and means due to use of already ready data which can begin to be used right after determination of the nomenclature of the operated equipment.

Besides the electronic base i-NORM is constructed on the basis of the All-industry Qualifier of the Code of models of the equipment (OKKM) which serves for standardization of information necessary for process automation of management of works on maintenance and repairs of the equipment. Many industrial companies already use OKKM, the binding to the reference book allows to simplify receiving ready data sets for specific model of the equipment (standard technical cards, Inventories, etc.) and also to data exchange.
