The Beltel system integrator upgraded telecommunication network of the largest enterprise for an overhaul of aviation engines in Russia based on solutions of Avaya.

"the 218th aircraft repair plant" - the largest enterprise for an overhaul of aviation engines in Russia. One of priority components of its successful development is use of modern technologies, including in the field of communications. With respect thereto the plant's management made the decision on replacement of outdated ATSK by the modern communication system providing the required level of reliability and functionality.

Upgrade of a telephone network of the plant was charged to the Beltel system integrator having extensive experience of construction of facilities of communication of different scale and industry orientation. As new technical base was solutions of Avaya company are selected.

For installation of telephones to the main objects of the plant in the city of Gatchina (Leningrad Region) the Avaya S8800 servers and the gateways G450 were used. On the production site located in the settlement of Voskovitsy the gateway Avaya G430 was installed.

As a result "the 218th aircraft repair plant" was equipped with the modern and reliable communication system. Now the question of implementation at the plant of a wireless system of DECT is considered.
