The implementation project of an information system of certification of the power grid equipment in Lenenergo enters a final stage

According to the results of competitive procedures, on the basis of the Protocol of the Winner, on April 18, 2012 JSC Lenenergo and Sayner LLC signed the Service provision agreement on implementation of an information system on certification of the power grid equipment using the software of SAP.
The project on creation of a System, by each component, is going to be implemented in 8 stages:
- Inspection of an automation object;
- Conceptual design;
- Implementation and testing;
- Carrying out integration testing;
- Training of personnel of the Customer for work with a System;
- Carrying out trial operation;
- Conducting acceptance tests;
- Support of commercial operation.
One stage within which examination of an automation object was conducted is at the moment completed, the Technical Specifications are created, approved and finished. Also, certification preparation is already executed, input training of heads is provided. Besides, at the initiative of the Customer, ahead of schedule, training of users is finished and process of data entry in a productive system is begun.
Trial operation
The company contractor put a system in trial operation, the press service of integrator reported on January 18, 2013. Within the project of automation of process of management of production assets based on SAP ERP (module RM) specialists of Sayner LLC performed tuning of a system, more than 200 employees of JSC Lenenergo in work with SAP provided training.
More than 1 million technical places and 515 thousand items of equipment with their passport data and detailed technical characteristics are entered to uniform base. On all main types of the equipment data of tests and measurements are entered.
"Using a management system for production assets of JSC Lenenergo will be able to plan afterwards the repair program for technical condition of power facilities taking into account risks, to exercise centralized operation of repairs and maintenance, to control and to purposefully distribute funds of repair stock, to analyze technical condition of the equipment. Finally all this leads to cost reduction on the repair program and that the most important, to reliability augmentation of power supply of consumers", - the project manager Natalya Amelchenko emphasized.
The near-term outlook
Now specialists of the contractor according to terms of reference carry out acceptance tests of a system. Transfer to commercial operation and project completion is planned at the end of February, 2013.
