Foresters of Bashkortostan used navigation trackers in work

Within further development of the project on use of solutions on the basis of GLONASS for the benefit of the Ministry of forestry of the Republic of Bashkortostan the Bashtelematik's M2M company (the regional partner of M2M Telematics group) performed delivery and connection of personal trackers to the complex navigation and information system.

Thanks to personal trackers control of location and movement of employees in real time, according to a route of a bypass of state property (forest plantings, constructions, lands) is provided. Due to use of navigation devices it is supposed to ensure not only additional safety of personnel, but also observance of work-rest schedules.

The implemented navigation solutions allow to react quickly at emergence of seats of forest fire that is especially relevant during the summer period. It should be noted that the woods occupy 40% of the territory of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The project on creation of the multilevel navigation and information system was initiated by the Ministry of forestry of the Republic of Bashkortostan in December, 2010 and implemented with technology support of Bashtelematik's M2M company. For today based on server solution and the telematic platform "Telematics M2M" it is created and the Center of monitoring and control of vehicles and personnel of forestry of Ufa functions, the navigation and coherent equipment M2M-Cyber of GLX equips 100% of the vehicles which are at the disposal of the ministry.
