The UGIBDD of Regional Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs across KhMAO-Yugra implements EDMS

In Management of traffic police of Regional Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs across Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug the project of creation of an electronic document management system on the OPTIMA‑WorkFlow platform came to the end.

Solution

During the project 3 most important functions are automated: classical office-work, maintaining full-fledged electronic base of documents and control of execution of instructions of the management in the automatic mode. The main objective which faced the contractor — "painless" data migration from EDMS which was operated in Management until the end of 2011, in a new system.

Training of key users and operational personnel of UGIBDD of the ATC for work and independent maintenance of the created electronic document management system on the OPTIMA‑WorkFlow platform became the final stage. For work of EDMS the customer purchased more than 100 competitive licenses.

"In our Management the Linux operating system is used, and work on this OS was the main requirement to new EDMS. Also to us preserving and the subsequent maintaining uniform base of archive and current documents was important for their operational use. Thanks to the OPTIMA‑WorkFlow platform we managed to implement the project according to all requirements. The total amount of the documents transferred to OPTIMA‑WorkFlow was almost 48 thousand" — Gergel Snezhana, the Deputy chief of ROIO traffic police commented.
