In July, 2012 Technoserv company announced project completion on development of geographically distributed departmental network of a video conferencing (VIDEOCONFERENCING) of Federal Drug Control Service of the Russian Federation.
"Having got positive operating experience of "a pilot zone" of VKS network based on a departmental multiservice communication network of FSKN of Russia, we decided to cover VKS service regional governments of department through the whole country, having expanded network by 10 times, – Alexander Klishin, the head of department of special communication of Federal Drug Control Service of the Russian Federation noted. – A new system is constructed taking into account the existing infrastructure, completely with it is interconnected and is not the exclusive equipment for the presentations and ceremonial meetings, and the public instrument of daily operational work of staff of bodies of drug enforcement".
The project was implemented on the basis of the public contracts signed based on running public online auctions. The total cost of contracts was 51.65 million rubles.
Within the project supply of equipment for carrying out video conferences in regional governments of FSKN of Russia was provided. At the same time the geography of the project covered 68 regions in all 8 federal districts of Russia.
Creation of the VKS system in a complex of buildings of central office of FSKN of Russia in Moscow became the next stage of the project. The complex project included creation of the structured cable network for carrying out video conferences in a complex of buildings of department, delivery network and specialized the equipment for VKS, its installation, connection, installation and commissioning, commissioning. The personal systems of a video conferencing installed in offices of heads will allow to hold quickly meetings in the video conference mode and also to organize joint work over documents.
"The VKS systems become the usual management tool and works of federal agencies today, - Andrey Bogomolov, the director of the department of work with government institutions of Technoserv company commented on the project. – Only for 2011 Technoserv implemented several large federal projects for such government institutions as FMS of Russia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation and some other departments".
