The LanKey company performed upgrade of technical and computing base of Russian Center for Training in Election Technologies under the CEC of Russia (Russian Center for Training in Election Technologies under the CEC of Russia) by creation of new network segment.

Start

At the end of 2011 Russian Center for Training in Election Technologies under the CEC of Russia announced the tender for upgrade of a network and server framework. The large-scale project meant a complex of the difficult actions necessary for creation of a new segment of an information system. The customer imposed strict quality requirements of works, the equipment and the software. Also after project completion on improvement of technical and computing base support of the created network segment within 12 months from the moment of commissioning was required for the Customer. According to the results of the held tender the LanKey company is recognized the winner.

Solution

Within upgrade of IT infrastructure, the LanKey company constructed a failover cluster of virtual machines based on the HP server hardware and the system of virtualization of the VMware vSphere 5 servers. For storage of service and production information two storage systems with a total amount more than 40 TB are unrolled. The LanKey company made deployment of two domains of a directory service of the Active Directory, servers of terminals and databases. For information security support devices of protection against network attacks based on the equipment CISCO were installed.

On the end of upgrade Russian Center for Training in Election Technologies under the CEC of Russia performs the activity, using advantages of a modern, failsafe and safe information system.
