Aegis Media automates planning, budgeting and consolidation of the management reporting

"Aegis Media" for control of financial and economic activity of the enterprises of group implements 1C: Consolidation 8. The integrator is 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT).

Earlier account in the companies of group was kept in separate information systems, and the management reporting was prepared using spreadsheets. At the same time data in the different tables visually different in a form, were often duplicated - each user participating in a chain of formation of the consolidated statements applied reports, usual for himself in view of lack of uniform universal forms. Existence of a large number of the initial tables containing impressive information volume complicated process of work with data and led to errors at their consolidation.

The management of group made the decision on implementation of an information system which would allow to automate planning processes, budgetings and consolidations of the management reporting of holding.

As the partner in creation of such system the 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT) was selected. The most suitable software product for project implementation recognized the solution "1C: Consolidation 8".

Solution

The general project duration was ten months. During this time experts of Savelovsky office BITS during step-by-step implementation conducted preliminary survey of processes of collection of information and reporting, uniform rules and report forms for information exchange between the companies of group are developed, methods of integration of a system into other software products which are used in the company are defined. Data transfer from the previous programs and spreadsheets is organized and test generation of the reporting in a system is carried out.

Result

The 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT) completed an implementation project of the 1C: Consolidation 8 system in Aegis Media group. In a project deliverable processes of collection of information and formation of the consolidated management reporting on the companies of group are optimized and automated. Labor costs of staff of finance division are reduced by 30%, the consolidated statements is prepared 1.5 times quicker. The management of Aegis Media received the convenient tool for control and planning of activity of holding.
