Was born on December 8, 1955 in the settlement of Kebraty of Gaynsky district of the Perm region.

1975 - graduated from the Ural polytechnic of Ministry of Iron and Steel of the USSR.

1988 - graduated from the Siberian metallurgical institute of S. Ordzhonikidze.

Graduated from the Moscow Mining University.

Scientific degree

2004 - defended the master's thesis (a thesis – "The Ekologo-economic case of the choice of option of increase in extraction of the coked coals in the Kuznetsk basin").

Candidate of Economic Sciences.

Professor of Environmental Management Economy department of the Moscow Mining University.

Career

The 1980th - the chief of the Novokuznetsk distance of civil constructions of the railroad^[6].

The 1990th - N.M. ran trade and intermediary companies "Sibtorgsin" and "K.Ltd", and then - the largest coal mine "Chernigovets" in Kuzbass.

2004 - together with Mikhail Fedyaev ^[1] registered the Siberian Business Union holding company^[1].

2007 - the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation as a part of the federal candidate list which is put forward by a batch United Russia.
