The Central Research and Development Institute of mechanical engineering carries out upgrade of means of display to TsUP

The Polymedia group carried out upgrade of means of display of Mission control center of Federal State Unitary Enterprise TsNIIMash.

Project

The Polymedia group completed the three-stage project on equipping by the audiovisual equipment and to implementation of the integrated systems to functional premises of structures of Federal Space Agency. As the customer of such project the Central Research and Development Institute of mechanical engineering – the FKA leading research institute occupying the huge territory to Korolyev MO acted.

Start

Development and deployment of a complex of the integrated audiovisions for the Conference hall of the State commission of one of the leading divisions of Institute – the Mission Control Center (MCC) which performs the command software of flight of the Russian segment of the International Space Station, the Union and Progress ships, spacecrafts of scientific and social and economic appointment became the first stage of the project. The hall with the videowall 4.1х2 meters, a high-speed data transmission system of Jupiter PixelNet, a congress system and interactive means of display was ready to acceptance of delegates already on April 12, 2011 – in day of 50-year Anniversary of flight in Yury Gagarin's space.

Development

Creation of a dispatcher station for monitoring of a technogenic situation in space became the second stage of the project. For its implementation the company undertook not only an engineering component, but also performed construction works, in particular, construction of "false-wall" for differentiation of a zone of the videowall. According to the results of works in September, 2011 in dispatching office the videowall from eight 50-inch cubes in a configuration 4.1х1.5 meters with the system of high-speed data transmission, the system of the integrated management of Crestron and other audiovisions was installed.

The third stage of the project is caused by need of replacement of the outdated projective systems for the Main hall of Mission control center of RS ISS. During such upgrade five outdated projectors of Barco (5000 ANSI lm, 1400x1050) are substituted with eight modern projectors of Panasonic (10600 ANSI lm, 1920х1080), four of which allowed to create the seamless image on the central screen of 8х6 meters in size, and remained four – on four screens 4х3 meters.

Besides, during the project the alphanumeric board of 1987, rare to present measures, is also decided to remove from a hall panel. Polymedia set instead of it a LED board of POLYLED P8is of 20 m of quarter in size from 80 screen modules.
