2B Group constructed DPC for the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Buryatia

On August 3, 2012 the grand opening of the data processing center in Ulan-Ude constructed by company 2B Group for the Ministry of Health of Buryatia was held.

From 11 a.m. till 11:30 a.m. in committee on information technologies of Administration of the head of the Republic of Buryatia (the building of the Government of the Republic of Buryatia, Sovetov Square, 1) took place solemn the opening ceremony in which participated:

• Chairman of the Committee on information technologies of administration of the head of the Republic of Buryatia V.V. Andronov;
• Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Buryatia on social development V.I. Matkhanov;
• the First Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Buryatia V.V. Nikhlanov;
• director of State Healthcare Institution "Republican medical information and analytical center" of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Buryatia Muzhanova V. To
• director of group 2B Group A.A. Popkov.

During the opening ceremony, operation of the equipment of computer center and also operation of the module "Uniform Electronic Registry of the Region" of a republican medical information system – a recording capability on appointment on the Internet, the infomat was shown.

Project implementation lasted eight months. At design of this computer center of data processing, the modern equipment of global manufacturers was used. As a core of a system the server hardware of production of Hewlett-Packard company was used. These servers formed a basis of design of a high-performance and failover cluster based on software of VMware vSphere 5. Servers were integrated by a high-speed Ethernet network with capacity of 10 Gbps., using a cluster from Juniper routers. Reliability of data storage is provided with the high-performance equipment of Hitachi Data Systems company. The general capacity of the solution is more than 100 Tbyte of the stored information.

Also at a system design special attention was paid to security of all computer center. According to the current legislation, the similar systems require the highest level of protection of K1 which was implemented based on the equipment VipNet and Stonegate. Works on certification of a system on compliance to requirements for security of information, shown by the current legislation were carried out.

The project also provided creation of a backup system and recovery capable to contain up to 300 Tbyte of data. Backup operations can be performed without stopping works of an information system.

In addition to different IT systems, no break power supply system was designed, mounted and started.

"Together with the general contractor – group 2B Group, we managed to implement the project, so difficult from the technology point of view, as creation computing the center of a health care system of the Republic. Creation of computer center allows to develop and support the medical information systems implemented within the program of upgrade of a health care system of the Republic of Buryatia and in the long term at the second stage of informatization of health care till 2020. In terms of operation, modern IT systems do not require keeping of the bloated staff of IT specialists. Thus, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Buryatia went on the most weighed way of a combination of two options of use of information systems: own computing powers and third-party channels. Causes extreme respect and professionalism of employees of the customer, their level of understanding of a perspective of creation of modern IT systems and efficiency of work in our company. "The implemented solution was designed taking into account further development of the project to the disaster-proof solution that gives the chance for ensuring work of information systems even in case of emergency, such as fires, floods, earthquakes leading to failure of all DPC.
