MERLION Projects company, the Russian system integrator, announced in the summer of 2012 project completion on implementation of the virtualized server framework with a centralized system of data storage in UK "RVM Capital".
Within successfully implemented project the MERLION Projects system integrator made delivery, installation and commissioning of the P6300 EVA HP disk array, HP servers of ProLiant and VMware vSphere.
Disk the array of HP EVA P6300 is the highly reliable system providing lack of a uniform point of failure. The system of virtualization represents the hardware-software complex allowing to provide reliable functioning of servers in virtual infrastructure without changes of the application software using VMware vSphere 5. The set version of software includes support of the server of management of VMware vCenter Standard and the license for three physical servers with a total amount of memory of virtual machines of 192 GB.
The implemented project allowed to provide high availability of functioning of services on the servers connected to storage system. Setup of servers, a system and the storage area network provides the most effective use of all equipment which is available for the customer and also reliability of storage and information processing.
