For the purpose of creation of the Uniform IT platform for formation of the information and education environment on training and personnel development in Gazprom Energoholding LLC implemented the Corporate Educational Portal created based on the WebTutor system of WebSoft company. During implementation of this project electronic educational resources of holding became available to all staff of the company, regardless of their territorial arrangement, conditions for integration, accumulation and knowledge transfer are provided, at the same time all employee categories will get information and methodical support and new types of internal communications.


One of competitive advantages of Gazprom Energoholding LLC which is the Russian leader of power producers is capability quickly to study and change. For the purpose of formation of a unified information and education environment for all companies of Holding: JSC Mosenergo, JSC TGC-1, JSC OGK-2, implemented the system of distance learning WebTutor, the software product of WebSoft company intended for complex automation of different HR processes. As a result of system implementation in Gazprom Energoholding LLC there was a Corporate Educational Portal which allowed to create uniform base of educational and methodical materials and to provide the centralized informing staff of Holding on corporate actions in the field of training and personnel development. On the portal employees can study at electronic rates, communicate with colleagues, participate in the held corporate competitions, learn about the news and events happening in the companies of Holding, etc. The intuitive and ergonomic interface of the portal clear even for employees with the low level of ownership of the computer is created. The educational portal provides to personnel new types of internal communication (forums, polls, votes, tenders, the automated document flow mechanisms) promoting more effective solution of the current tasks and more operational improvement of knowledge and skills of personnel of holding.

Obvious pluses of system implementation of distance learning are cutting of costs for training and decrease in time expenditure on the organization of communications. For a year of work of the portal more than 1000 people independently began studying of electronic rates (all electronic rates and tests placed at the moment are available to independent training). More than 30% of the connected employees are active users of a new educational resource. Perspective plans of development of the educational portal, with assistance of the management are already developed and according to the HR policy of Holding.

So far only fundamental modules of the uniform IT platform of development and personnel training were implemented, but on it development will not stop. Along with start of new modules – Virtual Class, Assessment center, at us are a lot of ideas and plans for development of the portal. It both integration into a management system for talents, knowledge and the ideas, and deeper use in technologies of the self-training organization, and, of course, development of specialized electronic educational resources on power".
