Thanks to implementation the efficiency and a scope of the employees training at considerable cost reduction connected with personnel training significantly increased in JSC MOEK of distance learning based on the WebTutor system of WebSoft company. The intuitive interface of the WebTutor software product allowed specialists of JSC MOEK to master functionality of a system necessary for them in short terms and to start its active operation. The WebSoft company provides the largest Russian energy companies with software products and solutions for distance learning long ago and successfully, among them OGK1, Gazprom Energoholding (OGK2, OGK6), Inter RAO UES, etc. JSC MOEK – the leader of the heat power industry of the Russian Federation. The main objective of the company – high-quality and reliable providing Moscow with heating and hot water supply. The field of activity of the company includes production, distribution and sale of thermal energy. In JSC MOEK it is developed and a number of the programs directed to reliability augmentation of power supply and energy security of Moscow is performed. But competent problem solving of ensuring reliable and regular heat and power supply is possible only provided that these issues will be resolved by competent, competent specialists.

And if to consider that JSC MOEK constantly develops, masters new technologies, opening a scope for innovation, initiatives and implementations of the most daring ideas, it becomes obvious that growth of the company is impossible without growth of the people working in it therefore in JSC MOEK all conditions for professional development of employees, disclosures of their creative potential are created. And it in turn causes need of expansion of opportunities of corporate training and process automation of management of employee development. With respect thereto in 2009 the decision on implementation in the company of an end-to-end system of distance learning was made.

In July, 2009 the WebSoft company performed delivery of the software solutions WebTutor and CourseLab to JSC MOEK. Usability, the intuitive interface and along with it huge functionality on automation and control practically of all processes connected with personnel development - were one of key factors when choosing the WebTutor system. In two months after signing of the contract a system was brought into operation, and in the company there was the educational portal created based on the WebTutor system.

Software products of WebSoft optimum answer tasks of MUEC of expansion of opportunities of corporate training and thanks to the flexible configurations help the company to receive that logic of the organization of business processes for employee development which is necessary. The editor of electronic CourseLab rates allows specialists of MUEC to create the specialized training courses, without resorting to services of third-party developers that is very relevant for the company since there are no ready rates connected with heat-and-power engineeering in the market practically. Now users of the Educational portal of MUEC constructed based on the WebTutor system are already more than 2000 employees who not only take the electronic courses and tests appointed by it on the Educational portal, but also actively submit applications for training, participate in the conducted surveys, get acquainted with news of educational department and news of the company, talk with colleagues to forums (for example, special forums for internal teachers, for groups of a talent pool, etc. are created). A system helps also when carrying out with the company of tender of professional skill, training of mentors, by preparation of a talent pool of the company, when collecting a feedback from employees – but opportunities this WebTutor are not exhausted, still there was rather big reserve of yet not used functions and settings of a system.

MUEC is going to develop this project further actively: continue to create new specialized courses, install the add-on modules of the WebTutor system automating activity of the company in the field of training of employees and holding procedures for assessment them.
