Content

Basic configuration of an information system for the enterprises of Transmashholding is "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management", at a number of the enterprises applications are used: "1C: Accounting", "1C: Trade Management", "1C: Payroll and HR Management". Microsoft SQL Server DBMS, as well as system "1C:Enterprise 8. Management of manufacturing enterprise", de facto enter a profile of corporate standards of holding.

2011-2013

The holding "Transmashholding" implemented the project on creation of a single automated system of accounting and asset management and financial resources based on solutions 1C and Microsoft SQL Server.

Tasks

In 2011 within development of the project the decision on unification of the accounting system of the enterprises and implementation of uniform accounting principles based on the created system is made.

Project

In a market analysis result the choice was stopped on the flagman solution of 1C Company – a standard configuration "1C:Enterprise 8. Management of manufacturing enterprise" and on optimal, according to specialists of department of information technologies of Transmashholding, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 database management system (DMS).

Result

Now users of an automated system of accounting and management are more than 3000 employees of all key divisions of holding.

At the same time work up to 200 users performing the addressing the database from the jobs with the centralized applications.

2013. Implementation of a template

The Infotecs company completed implementation of a corporate prototype of an information system on the 1C Platform: Management of manufacturing plants, the press service of 1C reported on June 5, 2013.

Background

In 2010 in Transmashholding project works of reduction of terms of closing of the periods began. The management set the task: reduce terms and costs for information processing due to use of the uniform accounting principles and the unified information system at all enterprises of holding.

As a basis for development of the unified information system the 1C system is selected : Also one of partners of 1C Company, Infotecs Ltd is attracted with management of manufacturing plants.

Job

In the planned terms large-scale works on implementation of a corporate prototype of an information system on the 1C Platform: Are executed by management of manufacturing plants. Works are implemented with the assistance of specialists of Department of information technologies of Transmashholding Ltd, IT departments of the plants under designer's service of 1C Company.

Result

The information system on the basis of 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management is unrolled at 12 enterprises of Transmashholding and actually is the corporate standard of automation. For preparation of the summary reporting under IFRS in management company 1C: Consolidation 8 PROF is used, in a number of the service enterprises of Transmashholding also 1C: Accounting, 1C: Trade Management, "1C: Payroll and HR Management" are applied.

As a part of the integrated system of Transmashholding more than 5 thousand jobs.

As of November 27, 2014 the automation system of Transmashholding integrated 13 thousand jobs[1].

2009

Situation

In holding the top management command which manages the movement of material means (sale-purchase), finance works and also resolves the issues connected with investments. Need of increase in production efficiency and decrease in management costs led to the fact that else in 2005-2006 at the enterprise the question of the choice of the platform of automation of accounting and management was raised. In 2006-2009 in holding it was headed for cost reduction – both managerial, and production.

Automation of accounting and management for the purpose of increase in efficiency and cost reduction at the enterprises of holding is for its management of a priority task. Its solution required obtaining the transparent reporting and reduction of a set-up time of the reporting of the enterprises. A key task at the same time was unification of account policy of the enterprises of holding.

Solution

When choosing a reference platform for an information system were considered capability to cover all problems of automation of accounting and resource management, the subsequent increase in scales and the diverse directions of business and also necessary costs for all amount of works and deadlines of start. In a market analysis result the choice was stopped on the flagman solution of firm "1C" – a standard configuration "1C:Enterprise 8. Management of manufacturing enterprise" and on optimal, according to specialists of department of information technologies of Transmashholding, the database management system (DBMS) Microsoft SQL Server 2008.

Implementation of the automated control system in Transmashholding Ltd began with the fact that in 2006 in the shortest possible time – within two months – at two plants were put into commercial operation of a subsystem "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management", responsible for conducting accounting and inventory accounting.

The quantity of the automated jobs at the initial stage was 140. Upon completion of the first project phase in 2008 in a system more than 1400 users worked already, and at the same time works on control automation by holding were continued, covering all new enterprises, business processes and sections of accounting.

Practical works on implementation of the systems of complex automation, including the podetalny production cost accounting started at the end of 2009 – the beginning of 2010 at Demikhovsky machine-building plant and the Kolomna plant. As of December, 2010 at the enterprises of Transmashholding Ltd more than 3000 user jobs functioned already.

In 2011 in holding the large-scale project on methodical unification of the accounting systems of the enterprises and implementation of the uniform accounting principles on the 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management platform is started. In addition to the centralized control system of requirement of the specific enterprises service local information systems.

At head enterprise of holding (in management company) centralized systems are implemented now: managements of budgets and financial flows; system of logistics; management system for implementation of finished goods.

In addition on two servers with the Microsoft SQL Server the centralized storage to which requests from the centralized applications are performed (management of supply, sale, payments and also all accounting of parent organization) is created. The consolidated parts of the databases functioning at the enterprises are transferred to the centralized storage. Now in the centralized database about 20 thousand documents are processed, and at the same time it steadily grows.

At the enterprises of holding local storages based on Microsoft SQL Servers, the appeal to which is performed from the applications functioning at the enterprise, are also unrolled. A part of information gets from the centralized storage to the local systems (for example, information on receivables).

Implementation of the Microsoft SQL Server at the enterprises of Transmashholding was performed by own forces of specialists of the company. Support and administration is also performed by a command of holding.

The Microsoft SQL Server systems and in the head company of holding, and at the enterprises function steadily and with hardly any trouble at all. As note in the company, costs for maintenance of a system were small.

Advantages

Now users of an automated system of accounting and management are more than 3000 employees of all key divisions of holding.

At the same time work up to 200 users performing the addressing the database from the jobs with the centralized applications. Requests are the most different, including operational and very difficult both on structure, and on loading. But, as note in Transmashholding, the storage based on the Microsoft SQL Server perfectly copes with this task. Despite increase in amount of data, decrease in response time does not occur.

In the new automation system the large volume of management information – in particular circulates because for increase in accuracy and efficiency of accounting the number of details is increased. If before when summing up all details were brought in a system once at the end of the month, then now use them weekly or even every two days. And at the same time adequate response time is provided.

Upon transition from accounting to operational management the size of storage sharply increases. Frequency of advanced queries to the database grows. If earlier the administrative personnel was content with reports of times a month, then now there was an opportunity to train them weekly or even every two days.

That the enterprise provided the planned profitability and was competitive, it is necessary to manage pricing precisely. Difficult products are made for 8-10 months, and products cost in the market during this time can cardinally change. The analytical system constructed using Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) performs data collection taking into account all systems of the enterprise and processes them on a centralized basis. Using Analyzer Server price trends and in general any changes in the market of mechanical engineering are monitored that, in addition, allows to reduce the level of risks at the enterprises of holding.

Among tasks which the holding sets for itself on the future, – unification of account policy at the enterprises for the purpose of obtaining the transparent reporting.
