"Sakhalinugol management company it was created in May, 2004. The main task of society is centralization of management of a number of the independent coal-mining enterprises operating in the market of Sakhalin. The holding holds a leading position in the island coal industry and the worthy place in the list of reliable suppliers of solid fuel in the Pacific Rim. Eight legally independent coal-mining, overworking and auxiliary enterprises are a part of holding. On Sakhalin the State inventory considers 24 fields, 12 of them are developed by the enterprises entering into Group under the direction of UK Sakhalinugol LLC. Now nearly 80% of all solid fuel extracted on the island fall to the share of the enterprises of holding.
