The VERNA company completed the project on creation of an end-to-end system of an intrusion prevention and system of correlation and event handling for PJSC FOLKSBANK.

Solution

Within the project the high-performance intrusion prevention system protecting the main services of bank, perimeter of network and the demilitarized zone is implemented and also the system of complex correlation and event handling was implemented. The created security infrastructure, allows PJSC FOLKSBANK to render financial services with the high level of continuity and availability

During the project specialists of VERNA carry out works on the analysis of infrastructure of bank, network and its services; to placement and setup of the equipment; to creation of security policies; to testing of operability of all system.

Components

The project included installation and setup of an intrusion detection and prevention system of a class a core of network/DPC of Cisco IPS, the module of detection and an intrusion prevention for the complex Cisco ASA safety control, the system of correlation and event handling of Cisco MARS.

Opinion

According to the director of the Kiev representative office of VERNA Vladimir Ostashko, project implementation on system implementation of an intrusion prevention and the system of correlation and event handling will allow PJSC FOLKSBANK:

  • increase the general security of corporate network
  • raise speed and efficiency of detection and response by the staff of department of information security to the possible arising incidents
  • carry out deeper analysis and monitoring of course of different workflows and incidents of security to networks
  • further to carry out works on certification according to such international standards of information security as SO/IEC 27001:2005 and ISO/IEC 27002:2005.
