State medical university of Mechnikov (SZGMU) (1C:University)

The first division of the St. Petersburg state medical academy of I.I. Mechnikov having the status institute was created in 1907 and included medical, legal and pedagogical faculties. After a number of conversions and renamings, in June, 1994 the institute received the status of medical academy and the name the St. Petersburg state medical academy of I.I. Mechnikov (SPBGMA). The academy has 7 faculties and is the leading methodical medical center in Russia in the field of medico-preventive education. It represents the architectural and historical complex consisting of 50 buildings and located in the territory of the park of 35,000 square meters. More than 600 teachers successfully work at 56 departments of academy. In academy about 4000 students, including 800 - from 50 foreign countries study. For years of existence of university more than 30,000 doctors are trained.

For automation of activity of selection committee the 1C:University 8 software product is used.

As a result of implementation accomplishment of key transactions, such as formation of the personal record of the entrant and creation of printed forms of documents (the statement, the receipt, the inventory, the examination sheet), preparation and information processing about entrance tests and the USE, formation of ratings and lists of the entrants recommended for transfer, formation of orders on transfer, formation and printing of statistical, analytical and list report forms is accelerated.

In May, 2011 specialists "data-processing center Omega" began the project of automation of selection committee SPBGMA. Examination of automation objects, the description of business processes, formalization of technical specifications, implementation of an information system, training of specialists of academy was conducted. Works on adaptation were minimum as the standard functionality of software "1C:University 8" was suitable for university almost completely. All works were completed in July. 10 jobs are automated. The client-server option of work is used. The automation system of selection committee passed tests in commercial operation - during the receiving campaign of 2011 5,901 statements were adopted.

As a result of automation of selection committee in SPBGMA it was succeeded to increase considerably employee performance due to decrease in temporary costs for search and selection of necessary information and documents, to reduce time for creation of standard documents and reports at the expense of an exception of double entry of information, by data preparation for verification of certificates of the USE due to integration with Federal base of certificates of the USE and also to reduce risk of illegal access to documents.
