In 2011 the management of institute made the decision on creation of the unified information system for automation of a management activity of organization. At that time all account (except accounting) was kept manually. Data were entered in the Microsoft Word and Excel programs. Implementation of a new information system had to solve the following problems:
- Accounting and information storages about basic processes of higher education institution in one database;
- Integration with an accounting system of organization;
- Planning of educational process;
- Management of the contingent of students of university;
- Accounting of paid educational services.
As the software product capable to solve assigned tasks, the industry solution of 1C Company "1C:University" which covers all activity levels of the main divisions of university and is integrated with standard solutions of 1C Company for accounting and personnel department was selected. For the solution of a problem of maintaining all information in the single database the decision on automation of accounting department using the software product "was made by 1C: Accounting 8 PROF" (other system was used earlier).
As the partner in implementation of the software product the RITs company was selected ("Regional information center "1C") there is a Competence Center by training of 1C Company in Yekaterinburg which has wide experience of automation of educational institutions.
Specialists of RITs company performed installation and setup of the software product, including setup of roles and access rights of users. User training to work with the software product is provided.
During an implementation project all assigned tasks were automated. The software product allows to create curricula, to keep account of the movement of the contingent of students, to create orders, administrative and reporting documentation, education documents state sample. Integration of the solutions "1C:University" and "1C is performed: Accounting 8 PROF". Specialists of RITs company at the request of the customer developed new printed forms of orders. Duration of implementation was three months. 40 jobs are at the moment automated. In a single system methodologists, the personnel officer, accounting department work. Specialists of RITs company perform the current support of the software product and advise users routinely. In an implementation project deliverable the institute received the unified information system in which work of dean's office, departments, educational and methodical department, personnel department and accounting is joint. Time for search and processing of necessary information decreased, double entry of data is excluded. The management obtains necessary management information about a status of activity of higher education institution.
