Pharmdistribyyutor "Leaked" develops the updated budgeting system

The Navicon company completed a key stage of the project of automation of a system of financial planning in the company "Leaked". The project is implemented on the IBM Cognos TM1 platform.

Task purposes

Growth and development of the company exhausted opportunities of the used IBM Cognos Planning system and the guide of the customer made the decision to replace it with more powerful and functional solution - IBM Cognos TM1. For the choice of the contractor on implementation the tender in which victory was won by Navicon company was announced.

During the project it is necessary to solve the most relevant problem – to increase efficiency of consolidation and recalculation of data and analyticity of model. Besides, it was necessary to create model for goal setting on sales divisions. The project is implemented step by step.

Process

First of all, the schedule system of sales activity is transferred to the new platform. Today the customer can perform strategic and operational planning of indicators of deliverable and sales activity as in cost, and in kind.

The automated system of planning of operating expenses on divisions of the company became result of the second stage of project implementation.

Opportunity is provided:

• planning of all budget expenditures and carrying out a full stroke of their approval in the company;

current binding of an account part of the budget to model of measure planning of deliverable and sales activity;

• automation of budget process of the child dependent societies (CDS).

Result

The pharmaceutical distributor received a unified environment of budgeting and target modeling.

Today in a system about 100 users in different regions of Russia work. The budget is created 3 quarters 2012 already in a new budgeting system.
