A MES system is implemented into the State Research and Production Space Center of M.V. Khrunichev

Creation of a system in 2012

In August, 2012 according to the main scientific and technology directions of the program of the innovative development of Federal State Unitary Enterprise State Research and Production Space Center of M.V. Khrunichev for 2011-2015 for the purpose of increase in effective management of the latest high-performance technology equipment in production divisions of the enterprise, implementation of the production executive system "MES Khrunichev" based on the software package "MCIS" of Siemens company is conducted.

The planned full-scale system implementation "MES Khrunichev" will allow to manage most effectively the high quality machine equipment which is recently put into operation within modernization with numerical control of different types and also the available general purpose equipment equipped by specialized controllers. The items of equipment integrated in "MES Khrunichev" as a result fit into the uniform circuit of group management by the machine park implementing functionality of executive system including:

• control of accomplishment of technology transactions and quality of the made products,
• drawing up and accounting of accomplishment of the operating plan of production at the level of replaceable tasks with ensuring the maximum utilization of capacity,
• control of monitoring of movement of products on transitions of a process flow,
• status monitoring and loadings of the equipment,
• planning and accounting of maintenance of the machine park.

In 2012 successful implementation of pilot projects of implementation of a number of basic modules of the software package "MCIS" on production sites of the Space-rocket plant (the Moscow platform), Voronezh Mechanical Plant (Voronezh) and dependent enterprise JSC "Proton" — Perm Motors is complete (Perm) during which the core infrastructure of a system as a part of the Data processing centers operating at the enterprise and the structured cable networks in production workshops was created, the personnel for regular operation of a system are prepared.

For August, 2012 the MES Khrunichev system is in trial operation.

Based on the performed works for 2012 the beginning of implementation of complete functionality of a system on the Moscow platform and its replication is planned for all main production sites of the enterprise.

The single corporate system of communication and data transmission created and functioning at the enterprise between the central Moscow platform and platforms of remote branches allows to accelerate considerably terms of full-scale system implementation "MES Khrunichev" due to use of the centralized hardware-software resources which are already unrolled on the Moscow platform of the enterprise.

Integration with other systems

At the same time, within creation of the Uniform corporate information telecommunication system of enterprise management unrolled at the enterprise, works on integration of the MES Khrunichev system with other software product of Siemens company used in the space Center - support system of product lifecycle of PLM (based on the software packages NX/TeamCenter) and also with a resource management system of the ERP enterprise are conducted (based on the software package Oracle e-Business Suite).

Contractor of the project

The SITEK Group will become the contractor of the project, namely, Intenta LLC is the engineering company integrator of the software for automation and production management which is the certified Competence Center in the field of production management systems in mechanical engineering of the German concern Siemens AG (Siemens Industry Sector) (further Siemens).

Representatives of two parties agreed about cooperation within which the Intenta company undertook obligations to supply the necessary equipment and to perform works on creation of the unified information system on production sites of the Customer. At the enterprises of the State Research and Production Space Center of M.V. Khrunichev the MCIS system (Motion Control Information System) will be implemented.
