Polyus Ltd upgrades solutions EDMS to upgraded version

In August, 2012 Digital Design started project implementation of migration of an electronic document management system based on DocsVision 4.5 on the platform of version 5.0 in Polyus Ltd.

Background

Valeria Kuzmenko, the leading specialist of information and technical department of Polyus Ltd, emphasized: "Owing to specifics of our activity from the organization high rates of efficiency of business processes are required. Their level is influenced significantly by efficiency and accuracy during the processing and data recording by employees and also control of executive discipline in Polyus. Therefore the reliable electronic document management system allowing to have timely data access of any division is very important for us. We cooperate with Digital Design since 2008 when the company implemented for Polyus of EDMS based on DocsVision 4.1. As we are interested in permanent increase in efficiency of business processes, migration on version 4.3, and then on 4.5 was soon made. That volumes of work with documents in organization systematically increase we made the decision once again to improve EDMS. We are sure that the advanced functionality of a system based on the latest version of Docsvision will allow Polyus Ltd to improve as much as possible quality and to optimize time expenditure on execution of operations with documents".

Oleg Greshnev, the director of the department of corporate systems of Digital Design, noted: "Docsvision 5.0 differs in a user-friendly interface and powerful tools of development of solutions which creation and implementation does not require programming. The functionality of a system is complemented with the Management of Documents application intended for automation of conventional processes of office-work and entering basic edition of a system. This solution is essentially new tool created for the modern enterprise. At the moment the project on migration of EDMS for Polyus Ltd - is unique, however we are sure that in the nearest future our clients will appreciate all advantages of Docsvision 5.0 in comparison with the previous versions".

It is going to complete the project until the end of September.
