The Vericut – the software models processing on CNC machines with the purpose of error trapping and inefficient processing to an exit to the machine.

The software of Vericut models processing on metal-cutting CNC machines for the purpose of error trapping in a trajectory of the tool and inefficient movements. At a program development stage you can eliminate errors which can spoil a part, damage the equipment, break the cutting tool or vyves out of operation the machine – without debugging on the machine.

The solution of Vericut always is complex – it includes not only delivery of a workplace, but also development of verification kinematic models of machines according to technical specifications and also training of specialists of the customer.

2016: Vericut 8

  • New tape interface - When updating to the new 8th version the first that will be noticed by the user, is the new tape interface. With its help it is easy to find and select the necessary function of VERICUT. At the movement from a tab to a tab in the interface the options available on the current tab appear. All options are grouped on tabs in functions which they perform in VERICUT. The tape interface can be configured, but for simplification of transition to work in the new version users can use the VERICUT Classic setup organizing menu elements as they were located in the previous version. Users can also create and save the configured interface for work with different tasks.
  • Integration with management systems for the cutting tool - As well as in all software products, the accuracy of the entered data directly affects the received result. Thus, reliable simulation of processing requires exact model of the cutting tool and equipment. World leading manufacturers of the cutting tool, such as Sandvik, Kennametal and Iscar, create 3D models of the products which can be loaded into VERICUT and to use in processing simulation. Many of such models are available in the Machining Cloud application. Thanks to bigger quantity of metadata from Machining Cloud, in the new version of VERICUT setup of tools is significantly simplified. VERICUT 8 can interact with management systems for the tool, such as TDM Systems, Zoller and WinTool, allowing to use the most exact data on the cutting tool in the course of simulation.
  • The joint functions of creation of reports - the Magazine VERICUT displays different messages and reports, including error messages, warnings during simulation now and also shows information from the modules AUTO-DIFF and X-Caliper. All these messages it is possible to group, sort and customize their display as it is convenient to the user.
  • Improvements of the module Force - The Module Force which for the first time appeared in version 7.4 allows to set the maximum allowable speed of giving, considering four pacing factors: effort to a cutter, spindle power, maximum thickness of shaving, maximum allowed giving. In the new version also the speed of an input and exit, giving at fair processing are considered, and information representation about the tool became more clear.
  • Simplification of work with model - New features of VERICUT allow to avoid need to create a coordinate system for movement of model.
  • Graphical analysis of trajectories - the New feature of 'Toolpath Trace' creates a framework of a trajectory of the movement which then can be measured. For creation of a framework the procurement model is not necessary. The click by a mouse on a trajectory on a framework automatically sets simulation on the selected position in the managing program.
  • Emulator of a control panel - The companies and educational institutions can train future CNC operators, using the graphical interface of the controller which externally does not differ from the present. The virtual controller as well as real behaves.
  • Simulation of processing on machines of all types - For creation of exact configurations of virtual machines CGTech company works both with users, and with producers. A set of machines enter this range, beginning from simple 3-axial milling machines to the multiaxial processing centers; from 2-axial lathes to the complex turning and milling centers with additional spindles and change of procurements by the robot; from machines of plasma and hydroabrasive cutting to robots.

2014: Vericut 7.2

  • The efficiency by multiprocessor machines is increased. In comparison with the previous version of the program update handler function of a type works for 50% quicker. Besides, the most part of graphic work occurs in the background that allows the user to work with models of the virtual equipment more effectively.
  • Check on zareza is accelerated. Now during operation with the module AUTO-DIFF it is possible to use invisible model of a part. This improvement is intended to make work more convenient as the irregular shape of parts can sometimes disturb visual obnaruzhenisyu having killed. The mode of permanent detection having killed now it is configured through a project tree. If you use several models of parts, it is possible to select easily and quickly necessary for check of the processed procurement. The projects created in early versions automatically are recustomized for work in version 7.2.
  • Improvement of a tree of the project. Now well small, but very convenient change: group selection of elements in a tree of projects. A system can perform operations with a branch-off group – for example, at the selected models, components and coordinate systems there is available a functionality of movement.
  • Additional optimization of the module Opti-path. For setup of the modes of optimization it is not required to start simulation again any more: after the first start a system stores all information required. Using a special panel in the Overview of the Program tool it is possible to configure settings of optimization for each pass of the tool now. Results are visualized at once.
  • It is more than opportunities of creation of cutting tools. Now as model of the tool it is possible to use facet STL models, and directly from VERICUT, without converting or represerving in other systems. Assemblies of the tools imported using functionality Import of the CAD tool do not require the indication of the cutting profile any more. If the library of tools is used more than one user, there was an opportunity to block library so that only one user could make changes to it. In this case for other users the library will have the status "Only Reading".
  • Changes in emulation of management systems. With a release of each new version all files of controllers of the machines which are switched on in delivery are updated for support of all innovations of VERICUT and equipment manufacturers. Means for programming of simulation of new technological capabilities of the equipment are regularly added to library of management systems.
  • Possibilities of simulation of programs using correction of the tool are expanded. Improvements concerned also work of functionality of Look-ahead. Error check does not depend on the current fulfilled program frame now. There was an opportunity to browse a trajectory both using compensation, and without it.
