The Transoil transport company signed the agreement of Microsoft Enterprise Agreement Subscription

The Transoil transport company signed the agreement of Microsoft Enterprise Agreement Subscription (EAS) on delivery of the basic software Microsoft for a period of three years. The amount of annual payments on concluded to the contract was 3.7 million rubles.

Within the agreement of Enterprise Agreement Subscription (EAS) specialists of the St. Petersburg representative office of COMPAREX helped to license basic products of Microsoft for the computer park of Transoil company. More than three hundred computers used in the company are equipped with license software of Microsoft now that will allow to avoid large one-time investments into acquisition of the software within three years. Besides, during operation of the agreement the packet of additional free services according to the Software Assurance program – the universal mechanism of updating of software products and also a packet of free services and tools which promote effective planning, development and deployment of new products and solutions, training of IT employees, reducing costs for technical support is provided to the customer.

The signed agreement will simplify management of the park of the licenses which are available for Transoil company, will help to provide compliance of versions of the used software and, as a result, will significantly lower legal, business and technological hazards of use of program software that eventually it is favorable to affect development of information infrastructure of the organization.

In addition to the signed agreement of EAS specialists in licensing of COMPAREX begin implementation of Software Asset Manager (SAM) suitable the practician of management of program assets based on methodology. This process will allow to work correctly with the software at each stage of their lifecycle, to effectively apply resources of IT departments and it is much more effective to plan strategic development of IT infrastructure.
