Informica 6.0 School
Informica 6.0 School — the set of distribution kits for educational institutions developed by FGAU GNII ITT "Informica" and Alt Linux LLC.
Operating systems based on ALT Linux for creation of infrastructure of educational institution are included in the package:
- Informica 6.0 School Server;
- Informica 6.0 School Teacher;
- Informica 6.0 School Junior;
- Informica 6.0 School Master.
The main feature of a set is integration of jobs of pupils and the teacher. This feature allows not only to manage on a centralized basis educational process, but also performs interaction of pupils and the teacher in a form of chats, usual for all, and forums. Messages may contain tasks, their solutions and comments. File sharing of any formats, both between the teacher and the pupil, and between pupils is also possible.
Use of Informica 6.0 School in educational institutions has several significant pluses:
- zero cost of user licenses;
- possibility of centralized operation by an educational class;
- possibility of completion of a system under specific requirements;
- centralized operation by authentication via the server of directories;
- possibility of network loading of diskless clients with preserving of data on the server;
- high security of the software from viruses;
- the school Server is installed with a graphic cover which by default is not started.
