VGTRK completes strengthening of security of IT systems

The Inline Technologies company completed a complex of the works on information security support in VGTRK TV company.

Solution

Within the project examination of IT systems regarding information security, including audit of a personal data system is conducted. Besides, the solution of protection of virtual infrastructure in two geographically distributed data processing centers is deployed.

In work flow on an information security audit of head office VGTRK by specialists of Inline Technologies conformity assessment to requirements of the Russian and foreign standards in the field of cybersecurity was carried out and extent of fulfillment of requirements of regulating documents of FSTEC of Russia is defined. Special attention was paid to comprehensive examination and assessment of the current level of technical personal data protection regarding compliance to requirements of regulating documents. Systems performing personal data processing were classified, models of relevant security risks and an action for protection of the above-mentioned systems are developed. Based on audit the report containing suggestions for improvement of an information security system of VGTRK and also plans for processing of risks and further development of a system was prepared.

Result

The complex platform of security of computing infrastructure developed by specialists of Inline Technologies on the basis of the solution Trend Micro Deep Security became a result of works on increase in level of security of an information system of VGTRK. Automatic ensuring security of newly created virtual machines and decrease in load of virtual machines in the course of anti-virus scanning became a main goal of implementation of the platform of security. Thanks to close integration of the products Trend Micro and VMware the VGTRK company had an opportunity to broaden the platform of security of servers, applications and data on physical, virtual and cloud servers and workstations. It, in turn, provided a possibility of application of any system configurations of security both using agents, and without them, including firewalling and protection against malware, an intrusion detection and prevention system and also protection of web applications and control of integrity. In general the flexible solution allowed to provide protection of critical applications and data, noted in Inline Technologies.
