On the way to virtualization PJSC AZOTsM carries out upgrade of a server framework

The AMI company completed upgrade of a server framework of PJSC AZOTsM.

Background

Due to the planned transfer of IT services of PJSC AZOTsM to virtual environment there was a need of upgrade of a server framework.

Implementation

Within the project of AMI installed the modern HP BL460c servers edges with multi-core processors and the amount of RAM of 64GB about a possibility of expansion and also implemented the centralized information storage using storage system of HP of P2000 G3 MSA Array Systems with the high-speed interface of SAS 6Gb.

Vladislav Maslo, the chief executive of AMI company, noted: "At a design stage of IT infrastructure of the enterprise one of keyword parameters is the possibility of further easy scaling of the solution on a measure of growth of tasks of the company. In 2007 the AMI company implemented in PJSC AZOTsM a flexible solution based on architecture of HP BladeSystem. And 5 years later we could increase successfully computing powers without replacement of crucial elements of infrastructure. This fact once again validates the choice a blade servers as the corporate standard, and receiving as a result of such advantages as the maximum reliability, controllability, a possibility of simple accumulation of performance, during the entire period of operation of a system".

For ensuring stability of operation of the server hardware the AMI company upgraded the cooling system of server rooms which provides reliable cooling of the server premises due to reservation of conditioners 2N and automatic approval of their joint work as in the regular, and abnormal modes now.

Result

Upgrade of a server framework provided to the staff of PJSC Artemovsky Non-ferrous Metals Processing Works high access rate to data and a good opportunity for future scaling.
