The southwest bank of Sberbank of Russia implemented the automation system of administrative IT tasks of HP Operations Manager

In September, 2012 the Southwest bank of Sberbank of Russia and I-Teco company announced project completion on system implementation of automation of administrative IT tasks using the system of HP Operations Orchestration.

Due to the development and growth of IT infrastructure and also increase in quality requirements of functioning of services, the management of Southwest bank of Sberbank of Russia set the task to automate a number of the infrastructure management processes directed to its support in the set parameters for specialists of I-Teco. For project implementation the software of HP of Operations Orchestration which belongs to solutions of an industrial class and suits the customer's infrastructure on functional indicators and integration opportunities was selected.

The main specifics of implementation were that a new system should be able to manage a set of elements of IT infrastructure. So, one process can consist more than of hundred steps, on each of which the system of HP Operations Orchestration should "be connected" to the corresponding subsystem, send it a control signal and control result of accomplishment. During the project five processes with a total amount more than four hundred steps were automated.

"The solution implemented in Southwest bank constructed based on a product of HP Operations Orchestration allowed to automate the routine technology processes which are still executed by administrators of IT service of bank manually. First, it allowed to unload administrators, and secondly, considerably to reduce influence of "a human factor", and, as a result, probability of emergence of errors at administration. A system exercises serviceability check of bank services and in case of problems starts processes of the analysis of a situation and automatic elimination of errors" — the commercial representative of department of software solutions of Hewlett-Packard Russia Dmitry Mizernik emphasizes.
"In Southwest bank required parameters of management process were reached — reaction speed increased, course of processes of recovery of the set status of IT subsystems improved. Besides, process automation allowed to increase availability of services and to exclude the errors connected with a human factor" — the head of department of maintenance of computing resources of Southwest bank of Sberbank of Russia Anton Tikhonov says.
"Today banking business completely depends on IT, and his successful development is impossible without implementation of the most modern systems. At the same time each bank is unique financial institution which it is necessary to approach individually. Such approach and experience of I-Teco company allowed to complete successfully the project" — the curator of the project from I-Teco company Ilya Kiselyov notes.
